1. Check your Windows version
Open Settings → System → About and confirm that the Office release supports your version of Windows.
2. Choose the required Office edition
Professional Plus normally includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and additional applications. The exact set depends on the release.
3. Choose 32-bit or 64-bit
The 64-bit edition suits most modern computers. Choose 32-bit mainly when older add-ins require it.
4. Avoid incompatible installation types
Remove incompatible older Office editions before setup. Mixing MSI and Click-to-Run editions may cause errors.
5. Match the key to Office
The key must match the Office product name, year and edition. After installation, follow the GETCID Office activation guide.
