1. Open system settings
Press Win + I, choose System and then About.
2. Check the Windows edition
Under Windows specifications, note whether the installed edition is Windows 11 Pro, Windows 10 Home or another edition.
3. Check the system type
Under Device specifications, find System type to see whether Windows and the processor are 64-bit or 32-bit.
4. Check the version and build
Press Win + R, run winver and note the version and OS build.
5. Match the licence
Before buying, make sure the product name and Windows edition match your installed system.
